American Corners are partnerships between the U.S. Embassy and the host institution.
In American Corners you will find the collected literature of America’s best writers.
You will find information about American society, culture, policies, politics, history and business.
You can find out how to study in the U.S., visa information, videos, facts and statistics, and the Internet. You will also receive help in using the resources.
American Corners have information for journalists, academics, businessmen and women, civic organizations, teachers, students, government officials, military, clergy and traditional rulers.
American Corners are open to everyone in the community.
Presently, there are eleven (11) American Corners in Nigeria; six are sited in the northern part of Nigeria namely Abuja, Bauchi, Jos, Kano, Maiduguri and Sokoto. The other five (5) Corners are situated at the southern part namely Abeokuta, Calabar, Enugu, Ibadan and Port Harcourt. Locate an American Corner Near You
